This is a music video featuring some of the greatest horror movies of all time and just some of my all time favorite horror movies. Sorry I didn't make it longer. I wanted to upload it on Halloween...
Movies (In no particular order):
Night of the Living Dead The Amityville Horror (2005) The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning Friday the 13th Halloween Saw 1, 5 and 6 The Mist The Grudge 1, 2, and 3 The Ring 1 and 2 Drag Me to Hell The haunting in Connecticut The Exorcist (1973) The Exorcist: The Beginning IT Child's Play A Nightmare on Elm Street The Descent Dawn of the Dead ...Any that I missed?

Some horror movie titles you don't want to miss... in my opinion that is. I personally see Slasher and Horror films as 2 different genres, so I didn't include any slasher films.
Music is the MAIN TITLE THEME for RESIDENT EVIL OUTBREAK... a horror game on Playstation 2.
Software I used in making this video is SONY VEGAS PRO 8.
Here's the titles and year of the films in this video, and a link for each film's trailer too:

A tribute to the era of horror movies on VHS, which is how many first discovered a lot of movies, and the great box art that often led people to watch a certain movie. Covers and artwork chosen for their look, style, creativity, iconic status, and sentimental value. In most cases the image of what the actual VHS cases looked like have been used. However, for very few titles I had to use a better looking poster image near-identical to it's original VHS cover, as there was a lack of good sized quality images that were actually the VHS covers.
This was one of my projects for my Video Art Class where we had to incorporate special effects into our films in a meaningful way. Special ineffects were not just limited to visual; but also included anything done to the audio track; thus the extensive and abundant ambient noises that proliferate during the course of the film.
Through editing and the use of various digital means, I tried to fabricate a recurring nightmare and share it with the viewer in an audio-visual narrative. The fragmented segments, aesthetics, and audio track all embellish the surreal fractions that were most pronounced in my memory.
